About Ivvy
Ivvy is an emerging artist based in Melbourne, Australia.
Having a career in digital advertising, while finding her place in the fine arts world. Ivvy's work consists of bold, colourful and nostalgic still-life pieces, expressed through a magnified use of bright colours. Tablescapes with flowers to a pasta dish with wine, Ivvy hopes to invoke a sense of sentimentality in her pieces. Her abstract artworks follow some of the same rules, along with the addition of pigment sticks for a textured element.
Ivvy started selling her works in 2023 and has been included in a whirlwind of back to back exhibitions within the first year. She also noticed a need for affordable works so decided to expand her range to custom prints. Her artworks on her website in the form of one of a kind, original pieces as well as custom prints. Custom prints are available in cotton rag or on canvas. There is also the option to have these works framed in sustainable FSC approved float frames, ready to hang on your wall and looking like the real, original deal without the compromise of quality.
Recently gaining recognition as a Bluethumb Rising Star for 2024, Ivvy has also received features in the notable Australian interior magazine Inside Out, and representation from Bluethumb Gallery at the Affordable Art Fair Melbourne in August 2023.
